Quick estimate
Latte's warm, milky light-to-medium brown tone in our easiest-to-install format: a 2mm European oak veneer over a 14mm engineered core with a click-lock profile, so boards lock together without glue or nails. Wire-brushed and finished in matte UV lacquer, the same build quality as the rest of our engineered European oak range.
Three things:
Yes, for the same veneer thickness and finish quality. The profile affects how the boards go down, not how the surface wears. Click does typically need a flatter, more consistent subfloor than T&G, since it's usually installed as a floating floor rather than glued or nailed directly to the subfloor.
The practical difference is installation method and, over the very long term, how many times the floor can be sanded back. A thicker veneer generally tolerates more resands over its lifetime. For a straightforward floating-floor install over an existing hard floor, click is usually the simpler path; for a glued-down install with maximum long-term resand life, T&G is the stronger choice.
Click floors need a genuinely flat subfloor. Laying click boards over an uneven or unlevelled subfloor is one of the most common causes of boards clicking apart at the joints later, rather than a manufacturing fault. If you're supply-only on this one, check subfloor flatness with a straight edge before you start, not after the first few rows are down.
Available as supply-only or supply-and-install. Compare it against the 3mm T&G Latte, Latte in a herringbone lay, the full Engineered European Oak range, professional installation.
This is a 2mm veneer, click-profile straight-plank board. We also stock a 3mm T&G straight-plank version and a herringbone parquetry version in the same Latte tone.
Generally yes. Click boards lock together mechanically without glue or nails, making them more suited to DIY and floating-floor installs.
Not under normal use, but a thicker veneer does tolerate more sand-and-refinish cycles over the floor's lifetime, which matters more for very long-term ownership than day-to-day durability.
